Philosophy
The people-oriented change philosophy of Delta Change Management is based on ‘Symbolic Interactionism’. This movement within social psychology makes the assumption that thoughts, meaning, language, attitude and behaviour – but also personal identity and group culture – stem from the social interaction among (groups of) people.
Method
The people-oriented change philosophy of Delta Change Management is expressed in its practical, result-oriented and small-scale change method through:
- Working with small groups of entrepreneurs and managers and their teams;
- Identifying the similarities and differences in (groups of) people in order to understand each other better;
- Involving and inspiring managers and employees to offer a meaningful contribution to the change process;
- Providing tailor-made interventions aimed at desirable attitude and behaviour and at effective cooperation;
- Making connections (social networks) to inform all those involved, thus realising and maintaining effective communication.
